THE IDEA
Donovan McKnight and Lee Walton are interested in the idea of creating an "open social structure" without intention or predictable outcomes. As Directors, we essentially aim to provide people the space, time, resources and assistance for the creation of new experiences.
We are mostly curious to see what people do. In one sense, we are simply handing over the car keys and going along for the ride. Every day, more and more people are getting into the car. Ideally, we need a bus.
We also see the Super G as the most accurate reflection of Greensboro's diverse and vibrant community. Locating the residency within this context celebrates the larger community and connects people through meaningful engagements.
